The first of two live events for July at Gales. Sunday the 7th will see us open our doors (for free as always) to three amazing acts.
Headlining we have the incredible ME and Deboe, “There are no tricks here [with] the duo’s driving riffs and sumptuous vocal harmonies effortlessly intertwined to devastating effect..” Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music.
In support we have Ben Turner's The Waitress "Turner is very much his own man, lyrically intensely personal, but carrying a very universal appeal, and hinting at the promise of dark romance." Cath Bore (Get Into This)
And opening the night, we have local hero Joel Hughes' new outfit Sawbones Sawbones play a Progressive-infused Hard Rock, mixing odd time signatures with solid riffs and wall of noise aesthetics. We're fascinated to see them play a stripped back acoustic set on our tiny stage.
